Dave,
Jr. states, "When a family comes to us, requesting our services,
we feel that we become responsible for memorializing the life of
their loved one. Some people don't know the first thing about making
arrangements during their time of loss. People are still getting
used to the fact that their loved one is gone so they depend on
us to help guide them through this process. Funerals are to represent
the special life of the individual who died and we are seeing more
and more families becoming actively involved in making the funeral
a personal celebration of a life well lived. We, at Jasin's, welcome
the participation of the family, because this allows them to celebrate
the life of their loved one as only they can, to invite the public
by way of an obituary, to share memories, to console and support
those who've been left behind. These simple things allow the family
to heal from their loss by holding visitation and receiving other
mourners who have been touched by their loved one. Making those
last memories, of someone we love, precious is very important to
us at Jasin's. My father believed this and everyone here at Jasin's
has this thought instilled in them as well, this is who we are."
