July of 1958, David R. Jasin, Sr. and his wife Mary Ann opened the
doors of David R. Jasin Funeral Home on the grounds of what used to
be an orchard, hence the tree company logo. The tree signifies Jasin
Funeral Home Inc.'s beginnings and life. Today, their son, David R.
Jasin, Jr. is president and their daughter, Roberta Jasin, is vice
president and both are funeral directors. Their other daughters include
Mary Jo Jasin, who is a retired teacher, and Annie O'Rourke, who is
a Registered Nurse. All of the family still resides in Point Place.
Mrs. Mary Ann Jasin is still involved with the funeral home's daily
operations. |
